1st Airbus A320 assembled in China to be delivered in JunePublished: 10 Mar 2009 02:16:32 PSTMar. 10, 2009 (China Knowledge) — China is expected to deliver the first Airbus A320 aircraft in June, the official Xinhua News reported, citing Mayor Huang Xingguo of Tianjin Municipality as saying.This year a total of 11 A320 jets will be assembled at the Airbus A320 Family Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Tianjing, the first Airbus final assembly line outside Europe, said Huang, adding that another 15 jets are expected to be assembled next year and a total 286 jets will be delivered by 2016.Huang also said that there were orders for the next three years till 2012 and production will last till 2016.In addition, Huang denied the report that China has cancelled orders for 150 aircraft from Airbus.Airbus officially launched the FAL in Tianjin on Sept. 28, 2008.
